About the Grant house hotel
Since 1880 guests of The Grant House Hotel have been enjoying warm mulled cider next to the fire places, a long relaxing soaks in authentic deep clawfoot tubs, tobogganing the hills and canoeing down the St. Croix River. The grand wooden staircase greets you, private suites await you, wraparound whitewashed porches are here for you to enjoy as exactly as they have been for over 120 years. This Victorian Era hotel has 11 uniquely appointed guest rooms offering all of the amenities of modern day life. The restaurant at the Grant House Hotel offers private dining, events, and culinary packages all prepared with fresh local products.
The Grant House Hotel is committed to protecting the environment, the health and safety of our employees, and the community in which we conduct our business. We make this commitment by buying directly from local merchants and craftspersons who share our same goals. It is our policy to seek continual improvement by fair wage and enrichment employment opportunities and throughout our business operations to lessen our impact on the local and global environment by conserving energy, water and other natural resources; reducing waste generation; recycling and; reducing our use of toxic materials. We are committed to environmental excellence by working with Regenerative Rush City Farmers and to purchasing products which have greater recycled content with lower toxicity and packaging, that reduce the use of natural resources. From the toxic free laundry soap to the reclaimed heirloom decor and estate furniture, restoration and mindfulness curates our style.
